Who is Kendra Roop?

Kendra’s love for training began in dog care facilities, where she became captivated by how dogs learn and interact. She would watch their every move, then dive into research to understand what each behavior and expression meant.

This curiosity led her to a job with a board and train company, where she got her first real taste of training methods and learned how different breeds have their own unique traits. But something felt off—Kendra realized that even the best training programs were missing a crucial piece: the dog owner.

She has now been with Sit Happens for three years and loves to bring her experience with private training to dog owners across the St. Augustine area. Now, she gets to show owners how to improve both their dog’s behavior and their own understanding of their furry friend.

When she’s not with her dog, you might find Kendra exploring local food places, and watching her favorite sci-fi and anime shows.
